Team Finland’s high-level visit to Brazil

Last Friday, Team Finland’s high-level visit to Brazil, led by President Sauli Niinistö, included different G2G, B2G and B2B meetings in São Paulo, including the São Paulo State Government, the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo, industry associations and business leaders. In his speech, President-elect Lula da Silva highlighted his desire to further collaborate with Finland on different fronts, namely: green transition, biofuels, ICT (5G and 6G), defense, cyber security etc. his ties in the field of science and technology. President Sauli Niinistö and Governor Tarcisio de Freitas discussed opportunities for collaboration – as well as the current commercial and economic ties between Finland and the state of São Paulo.

Also during this event with the Federation of Industries of the State of Sao Paulo (Fiesp – Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo), a leading industry federation, President Sauli Niinistö was awarded the so-called Order of Industrial Merit.
