Brazil´s ESG Challenges and opportunities within UN 2023 SDGs

Last evening, we welcomed guests from Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish Chambers of Commerce in Brazil, including the representatives of each, at the headquarters of Swedcham in São Paulo.

The Chairman of the Board at Finncham Brazil and keynote speaker at the event, Jan Jarne, with the cooperation of Finncham’s intern Francisco Teixeira, conducted thorough research into ESG, which aligns with 7 out of the 17 goals in the UN 2030 Agenda of SDGs, considered by Jan to be the most relevant from the perspective of Brazil. Those being: No poverty, Clean Water and Sanitation, Life on Land, Zero Hunger, Affordable and Clean Energy, Quality Education, and Climate Action. The presentation was then followed by a Q&A session bringing up discussions on the topic.
