Andrea Guatelli

Andrea Guatelli is a general counsel with an extensive background in International Relations and Pharmaceutical matters. She has been working in the Life Sciences area for over 15 years, being responsible for all legal matters involving international partnerships, Science & Technology regulation, Government Relations (OPAS, PNI, ANVISA, WHO, NHI), and also Compliance policies, audit processes and practices (incl.FCPA, GDPR, LGPD).

Andrea is a Lawyer with a specialization in international law at the University of São Paulo, and also at the Université du Quebec/CA. She comes from a background as the Legal Director at the Butantan Institute with an extended period of professional qualification that earned her international recognition. From the current role, she has been providing legal advice for national and international biotech companies, in the ANVISA sanitary regulation, IP and R&D matters.
